As we step into the Spring Term, Niton Preschool is buzzing with activity! From celebrating new life to a fun-filled Mother’s Day shop and exciting upcoming events, there's so much to look forward to. Read on for important updates, key dates, and everything you need to know for the weeks ahead.

The UK government is expanding childcare support to assist working families with young children. In September 2025, the UK government will fully expand its childcare support, offering eligible working parents 30 hours additional support per week for children under 5.

At Niton Preschool, we believe that teaching our little ones about sustainability is crucial for their development and for the world they will inherit. To support our commitment to fostering an eco-conscious environment, we have introduced a small weekly sustainability charge of £5. This contribution helps us cover essential consumables, art materials, and the waterproof clothing that allows our children to explore the great outdoors, rain or shine!

Looking at different people’s cultures and festivals is a great way to teach children about the world around them. We encourage children to show respect for other people’s beliefs. We will be looking at the Hindu Festival of Light Diwali, Bonfire Night and of course Christmas.
