Niton Preschool

Special Educational Needs

SEN Provision

At Niton Preschool, we are dedicated to ensuring that every child, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN), receives the support they need to thrive. Providers across the Isle of Wight work together, adopting a consistent approach to meeting the needs of children with SEN.

The Local Authority actively supports preschools and schools in making sure that all children, regardless of their individual needs, can make the best possible progress. Our shared goal is to promote inclusivity, ensuring that children with SEN are supported within a mainstream setting wherever possible, while also respecting the wishes of their families.

Local Offer

The Isle of Wight Council is fully committed to providing all children with a high-quality education that helps them progress and achieve their potential.

For children and young people aged 0 to 25 with special educational needs or disabilities, additional or specialist support may be required to help them succeed. To assist families in accessing the available support and resources, the Isle of Wight Local Authority has published a comprehensive Local Offer.
